How to get engaged

The issues of the world are no longer isolated to the place of action. It is present in our
homes through the internet, television and and when people are arriving from across borders to a
new place we know as home. It's present in our national politics and international relations. The world
and the people of the world have therefore been connected one way or another. The past years
especially the question of refugees and migration has taken a large place locally, nationally and
internationally. So what position do we as youth take in this big, fast moving and unequal world?

In our time social, political and environmental issues are as relevant as ever. We see social injustice
and riots in most continents; dictators oppressing their people in several countries - for the gain of
more money, the gain of more power, through religious revolutions. We see the consequences from
climate changes - people's homes being flooded, their crops being dried out and we have even seen
extreme weather in Europe. And we see people fleeing their home with a hope for safety, prosperity,
and justice.
